Privacy Policy

Rimut is a TV remote app for iPhone, developed by Okan Ozturk, an individual developer based in Türkiye. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What Rimut collects

Nothing. Rimut has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't receive any information about you or how you use the app.

What stays on your iPhone

The TVs you add, the names you give them, and the pairing codes or tokens your TVs issue are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's storage and the iOS Keychain. Deleting the app deletes them.

Your local network

Rimut uses your local network only to find TVs and send them remote commands. That traffic goes directly between your iPhone and your TV and never passes through our servers.

App icons

To show app icons, Rimut looks up public App Store artwork from Apple's iTunes Search API. These requests contain only app identifiers and nothing that identifies you. Apple's handling of them is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Rimut collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If Rimut ever starts handling personal data, this policy will change before the app does, and the date above will change with it.
