Couch support
Couch controls Roku, Samsung, LG, Google TV and Android TV, Fire TV, Vizio and Hisense VIDAA TVs over your home Wi-Fi.
My TV doesn't show up
- Your iPhone and your TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Guest networks often keep devices apart.
- Couch needs Local Network access: Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › Couch.
- Turn the TV on, then add it with Add by IP address. The TV's network settings show its IP address.
Pairing
- Samsung and LG show an Allow prompt on the TV.
- Google TV, Fire TV, Vizio and Hisense show a code on the TV to type into Couch.
- Roku needs no pairing.
Turning the TV on from Couch
Samsung: Settings › General › Network › Expert Settings › Power On with Mobile. LG: Settings › General › Devices › TV Management › Turn on via Wi-Fi (Mobile TV On on older models). Hisense: Wake on LAN or Wake on Wireless Network in the network settings. Fire TV: press power in Couch while the stick is asleep.
