概要

Criminal Somerset, who is nearing retirement, and newcomer Mills head to a murder scene. There, they find the gruesome corpse of a large, obese man. Shortly after, a businessman's corpse is discovered. Somerset analyzes the writings left at each scene and deduces that the killer is committing murders based on the seven deadly sins of Christianity (pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, lust), with five remaining. The two rush to identify the killer to prevent further incidents. Eventually, a man emerges as a suspect, but they fail to apprehend him when they get close, leading to more victims. Meanwhile, with only two more crimes following the deadly sins, a man claiming to be the killer turns himself in...
